Well there have been a few games since I last posted the scores... let me see if I can catch you up :)
Guys - 14
Girls - 8
This is the most recent tally and the girls seem pretty ecstatic to be making a change toward a positive in their favor... we'll see how long that lasts :)
To keep things on the good side with my beautiful wife, I have to say that her and her entourage whooped us 3 games to nothing while my family was in town. We just couldn't catch a break.
Hope your games have been going well - their good for the mind and fun in their own right.
Peace.

Guys vs Girls: Box Score
What would camping be without some card games (friendly competition, of course)!
We had several different games that were had during our time at the campground. The team games included Skipbo and Euchre. The guys prevailed as normal, though I'll admit we did get whooped pretty good during one game of Euchre.
Here's the up tally to date:
Guys - 12
Girls - 6
Peace.

Guys vs Girls: Box Score
This last weekend (a couple nights before the big events), my wife and I had the privilege of having dinner with Terri and Dave. I'm on staff with Terri and she keeps me in line most of the time - they are both great people and a blast to hang out with.
Since they are mutual friends with Todd and Paula (our usual card-playing couple), we were able to rack up a couple more wins. The game of course was Euchre.
Guys - 9
Girls - 5
Nine to five... isn't that an old song? I do also want to share that during the first game, the girls were up 6 hands to 1 and they started getting a little full of themselves (as most players do early in the game). My wife is a bit competitive. Enter Terri... she too is a bit competitive. It was somewhere around this time that my wife was taunting us and stated, "we're going to wipe your noses." I've never laughed so hard in my life!
The phrase now lives on. Thanks Kristen ;)
Peace.

Who else plays cards out there? What's your game?
Come on - I know there are some competitive bloggers out there!
Peace.

Guys vs Girls: Box Score
Almost forgot to add to the list the latest card game wins.
Guys - 6 **
Girls - 3 ***
** There is also some wins added by my partner while he was on vacation bringing the guys real total to 9.
*** Apparently, there was some sort of agreement to keep the above card game win count in the running total until the guys racked up the wins... the girls only won one additional while our partners were away bringing their total to 4.
Which do we keep :))
Peace.

Guys vs Girls: Box Score
Alright, alright... so after much complaining and hounding (not to mention we started feeling bad for them), we finally decided to give the girls an extra win.
This of course came after the gentlemen prevailed in cards once more (actually, twice more) this last weekend.
Here's the updated win totals (including the mercy point for the girls :)
Guys - 5
Girls - 2
Peace.

Guys vs Girls: Box Score
As promised to my wife, I have decided to start keeping a running tally of card games that the guys have won vs the girls.
The total so far is guys 3, gals 1. There is also a discrepancy about a selective win the ladies supposedly picked up shortly before this tracking started. But then we'd have to go back and count so many other wins the guys have had - it just gets messy.
This could be painful but I'm all about risk ;)
Peace.
